Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that forward Sebastien Haller is available again after recovering from a medial collateral ligament injury. The Ivorian striker has been out of action since August after suffering the injury in a pre-season friendly against Valencia.

Haller's return is a major boost for Dortmund, who have been struggling for goals in his absence. The 28-year-old scored 34 goals in all competitions for Ajax last season and will be looking to make a similar impact at Dortmund.

Dortmund are currently fourth in the Bundesliga, six points behind leaders Bayern Munich. They will be hoping that Haller can help them close the gap and challenge for the title.

In other news, VAR chaos saw Dortmund's scored PK ruled out against FC Copenhagen in the Champions League. The penalty was initially awarded after a handball by Copenhagen defender Denis Vavro, but VAR ruled that the handball occurred outside the penalty area.

The decision was controversial, and Dortmund coach Edin Terzic was furious. He said: "I don't understand the decision. It was a clear handball in the penalty area. We are very disappointed."
