Lakers Nuggets Game 2

Jamal Murray's Buzzer-Beater Lifts Nuggets to Game 2 Victory

Denver Completes 20-Point Comeback Against Lakers

Nuggets guard Jamal Murray didn't need to see the basket to make the game-winning shot. With just three seconds remaining on the clock in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals on Monday night, Murray launched a desperation shot that found its way through the hoop, giving the Nuggets a 101-99 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

The win completed an incredible comeback for the Nuggets, who trailed by 20 points in the third quarter. Murray led the way with 28 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter. Nikola Jokic added 21 points and 15 rebounds, while Michael Porter Jr. chipped in with 18 points.

The Lakers were led by LeBron James, who had 30 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis added 25 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Lakers from falling to 0-2 in the series.

The Nuggets will host Game 3 on Thursday night in Denver.
