Jack White ripped into Donald Trump on Saturday after the former president used his hit song "Seven Nation Army" at a rally without permission.

"Dear Mr. Trump," White wrote in a statement posted to Instagram. "I hereby demand that you cease and desist from using my song 'Seven Nation Army' without my permission."

The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" has been a staple of Trump's rallies since 2016. It's often played as he takes the stage.

White Taking Legal Action

White said he would take legal action if Trump does not comply with his demand.

"I will not allow my work to be used in support of your divisive and hateful political agenda," White wrote.

White's statement has been praised by many on social media, who have long criticized Trump for using music without permission.
